Kenny “Kas” Flanagan is a celebrated fashion icon with 36 years in the industry. As Chief Creative Officer and Creative Director of Kenny Kas Clothing, he has built an empire defined by vision, craftsmanship, and innovation.

A protégé of Yves Saint Laurent, Kas has collaborated with brands like Altazurra, Zuhair Murad, Zara, and YSL, with his couture designs worn by

A-list celebrities and featured in film, television, magazines, and on runways worldwide.

The first African American male couture designer featured at Saks Fifth Avenue, Kas has received numerous honors, including the CFDA Breakthrough Designer nomination, Velocity Magazine Career Achievement Award, and official proclamations from Maryland leaders. His work has also been showcased at New York Fashion Week and recognized internationally with awards such as America’s Prince of Fashion and the TIMMY Designer of the Year in New York, London, and Paris.

A graduate of Georgia Military College, the University of Georgia, and Calvin Coolidge High School, Kas is also a proud U.S. Army veteran, having completed elite Airborne and Ranger training. Beyond fashion, he cherishes his role as a devoted father of seven and grandfather of ten.
